Breaking news reaching Tribunepoint Weekly reporter on Tuesday 13th November 2018 of an attack assassination murder of a well known Church Reverend and Priest identified as Rev. Dr. Theophilus Ndubuisi Madu of Grace of God Mission Nnewi Anambra.

It was gathered that, some gun men double crossed his car on the road and particularly went straight to side where Reverend was sitting and shot him severally right inside the car until he was confirmed dead by the assassins before they left, according to one of the eye witness identified to be Emmanuel.


Speaking to Tribunepoint Weekly reporter correspondence on the incident, we gathered that the assassins were suspected to be from some insiders whom were however envious of his (Rev. Theophilus) progress and promotion in no time in their ministry.

According to the report derived from the police station where the incident case was reported, the attack of Rev. Theophilus was said to be as a result of a suspected gang up plan from some persons whom are against his promotion in the church, however according to the division DPO said investigation is ongoing currently on the incident of the assassination of Rev. Theophilus among the church to come out those whom were involved in it.

He also said that, one of the pastors of the ministry Pastor Kingsley Onyebuchi Chukwu whom also is identified as a son-in-law to the deceased said, the cause of death of Rev. Theophilus must be investigated thoroughly even before he would be buried as the church are already planning to bury him in time so that it won’t interrupt their dated programme which is on 22, November 2018.

He said this date event was the day supposed to be the day Late Rev. Theophilus was to be ordained and promoted to be the Bishop in the ministry of which he was assassinated on the 13th of November 2018.
