The Federal Government has said it won’t permit Nigerians who come back from abroad to self-confine.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, expressed this at the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 day by day instructions on Friday in Abuja.
“We won’t acknowledge the solicitation to self-confine in light of the fact that it will be hard to screen them. That is our position,” he said.
Onyeama uncovered that a few Nigerians ready to return home were requesting self-confinement in their homes.
Nonetheless, he clarified that such demands couldn’t be without a doubt, as checking them would be troublesome.
