Police in Anambra State have arrested a 60-year-old man for allegedly defiling a 9-year-old girl in Nkwelle Ezunaka, near Onitsha.

Confusion sets in on the people of Shimawa part of Ogun state where the fulani’s herdsmen jihaad paraded and invaded some farmlands with their cattle and made a complete destruction to their farm crops.

Speaking to TRIBUNEPOINT WEEKLY reporters, the people of Shimawa cried out for aid to the government of Ogun state to help them see to the destruction of their farmlands by the Fulani’s herdsmen jihaad with their cattle attacking the farmers and destroying their farm crops. So many farmers were injured during the attacked with fatal bruises.

Speaking to our spokesman by a victim said, they were in the farm working when the herdsmen directed their cattle into their farmlands, when they (the farmers) tried to stop them seeing that they would destroyed their farm crops, the herdsmen in turn drew out their flock sticks and knifes to attack them and got them over-powered.

He said they were attacked and injured, all their farm produce were completely destroyed.

Sequential to the same incident that occurred sometimes on the 4th of November 2017 in the area of Saanu village Moniya Ibadan area of Oyo state gathered by our correspondents about this said herdsmen who allegedly attacked a one Ola farms Ltd, belonging to Madam Olaide Abayomi Kareem, and attacking the guarders which resulted to the death of about two of them and also leaving her husband injured as well.

Presently the news updates about this said herdsmen in the country is getting rampart every now and then which the situation is gradually getting out of hands by the commuters in the community these attacks are happening.

The victims however pleads with the government to look for a lasting solution to this Fulani’s herdsmen jihaad destruction and attack to their farmlands to enable them all live peacefully thereafter.

Recently, the news about How Fulani herdsmen murdered actor, robbed others of their belongings on their way to ilorin kwara state for a movie shoot.

According to the Survivor, actress, Toyosi Adesanya spoke with TRIBUNEPOINT WEEKLY correspondents Says, “we are no more secure in Nigeria It was a mournful week for the Yoruba sector of Nollywood, movie lovers and a loss to the friends and family.

Nollywood actor, Juwon Awe, who lost his life in the hands of some suspected Fulani herdsmen.

He was murdered in cold blood on Monday, January 27, on Ote road along the Ogbomosho-Ilorin expressway, and others, who were in the vehicle, were injured and robbed of their belongings”.

In the interview with her as one of the survivors of the attack, Nollywood actress, Toyosi Adesanya, who spoke from the hospital bed in Ilorin, gives details of the experience thus; “We were going to the location of a movie by Damola Olatunji in Ilorin, Kwara State when these Fulani herdsmen appeared on the road and started shooting at us.

Juwon, who was driving, tried to dodge them, and he was targeted and shot.

The bullet entered through the side window and he was killed. When he was shot dead, we lost control and the car almost somersaulted.

It was God that saved us.

So, they came, attacked us, collected all our phones and gadgets and belongings. It was only the cloth we were wearing that they did not collect. There was one guy among them that was more like a Yoruba man.

His Yoruba was so fluent.

We were stranded there for almost six hours and they also robbed some other vehicles. We were lying down on the road there for almost six hours not knowing they had gone, because they told us if we looked up, they would kill us all.

They said in pidgin, “we go gun all of you down”. She gave the robbery experience of what they suffered from the hands of the fulani herdsmen.

So numerous news of this so called Fulani’s herdsmen all around putting fear and panic in the hearts of many all over.

The general public pleads to the government to see to this whole attack and find a lasting solution to comb the whole nimbleness of the Fulani’s herdsmen attacks all the time.
