Jigawa State government has gotten 524 Almajiris ousted by Kano State government over the dread of COVID-19 spread in the state.
Kano State government had said more than 1595 Almajiris would be repatriated to various states as a major aspect of endeavors to handle the pandemic.
Getting the Almajiris, the Jigawa State Governor, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar said the returnee Almajiris would experience clinical screening before they rejoin with their families.
‘We would inspect their wellbeing condition and the individuals who are solid would be sent back to their nearby government and the individuals who have wellbeing difficulties would be disconnected for about fourteen days.
“They would likewise be furnished with beds and nourishment until they are pronounced safe to blend with others in the general public,” he said.
Badaru included that he has no expectation to clear non indigene almajiris to their states as this would present more risk in the spread of COVID-19.
He guaranteed to keep keeping up the common connection between the two States.
