Police arrest 60-year-old man for defiling 9-year-old girl in Anambra

Police in Anambra State have arrested a 60-year-old man for allegedly defiling a 9-year-old girl in Nkwelle Ezunaka, near Onitsha.

Chief (Mrs.) M.N Adewumi hail from Delta State Nigeria, was recently murdered by some gangs of hoodlums in her residence at Asaba 19 Agu street, Asaba Delta State, on 15th of January 2019.

It was gathered by Tribunepoints Weekly correspondence who visited the crime scene, that this evil perpetrators who murdered the deceased were said to be political thugs whom were in search for the whereabout of her son (Hon. Emmanuel Olanrewaju Adewumi Ogefon) who was a political aspirant in Oyo state Nigeria under the Accord Party. These hoodlums were said to be working for a rival rulling political party against him (Ogefon). inhale


The deceased, Chief (Mrs.) M.N Adewumi whom we were told that she came back into the country from her trip to USA some days back before the fateful incident happened.
Speaking to our correspondence from a source, we were told that, on this fateful day the deceased was murdered, some gangs of hoodlums were seen banging into her residence in Asaba at about 12noon in the afternoon and for about an hour they were seen again coming out of the compoud and rushing into their vehicles and zoomed off.


Not long they left that they started to overhear noise from the house that the deceased had been murdered in cold blood. It was when the eye witnessed around her house got into the house that they found out that Chief Mrs. Adewumi had been killed, tied down and murdered by strangling to death. The police were alerted immediately on the incident and her body was taken and deposited to the mortuary for further investigations on how to get hold of the perpetrators.
