News reaching Tribunepoint Weekly on the incident which broke out yesterday 27th September 2017 at about 6:30pm when some thugs invaded into a Christian crusade ground on going in an open space in Ibadan Oyo state.

According to eye witness, speaking to Tribunepoint Weekly correspondents said “as they were ongoing in the crusade revival, suddenly some thing of boys broke in and started chasing everyone and disrupting our activities, even injured many of our members”… He also made further that as these thugs were destroying and attacking people they were making mention of a particular name ‘Muniru Tijani Adeleke’ whom they recognised as ‘Pastor Amos Moradeyo Adeleke’ should come out to them and that they are here for him. Lucky enough they couldn’t find him because if he had been found, those thugs would have possibly killed him reason that the look on their faces seems deadly and ready to kill, according to source and eye witness.

Tribunepoint Weekly correspondence researches further on the cause and reason for the attack by the thugs to invading into a Christian crusade ground which was a rare occurrence if not for a tangible reasons behind it.

Speaking to our correspondent by one of the church that organized the crusade said, one of them whom is their pastor by name pastor Amos Moradeyo Adeleke told them particularly that those thugs that invaded the crusade ground and disrupting the whole program didn’t just came on their own will but were instructed by his family members to come attack him and disrupting the crusade.

He said further that, this man in person was said to come from a Muslim background but got converted to Christianity along the line which the whole of his family were against him for his decisions to leave Islamic and go become a Christian which was against their tradition. However he concluded saying, those thugs were sent by his father to come and kill him for bringing shame to their family.

The incident had already being reported to the state police division Elekuro ogbere police station division in Ibadan, Oyo state for further investigations. Immediately the police swinged to action they were able to apprehend some of the thug of boys who partook in the attack at the crusade.
