At exactly 12:10midnight on the 5th April 2020, some men broke into Lawal Akindele’s apartment at No. 3 Remi Adeniji close, Sagamu Ogun state.

He was said to be attacked by 5 men identified in Islamic attires. They busted into his home and dealt with him that night such that he’s one leg was cut off. 

Speaking to the victim ‘Lawal Akindele’ by Tribunepoint WEEKLY correspondence where he was receiving treatment at Hope Hospital Sagamu Ogun state, he said this men came to his home and demanding for the whereabouts of a friend of his by name ‘Akeem Adenle’.

He added that they kept questioning him on his(Akeem) whereabouts that  they knew he came to him here in Ogun state after leaving his resident in Lagos. 

He made known to Tribunepoint WEEKLY correspondence that after all said to them that he had not seen his friend for a while now, but they never believed him instead he was tied to the ground and tortured mercilessly such that they went ahead to cut off one of his legs before leaving.

He concluded that, it was after they left that his neighbors rushed to his apartment to rescue him to the nearest hospital for emergency treatment and later reported to the Sagamu Area M police division for investigations
